Photographer's Note

After a 12 hour drive from Accra through thick rainforest, we reach the Northern Region. This is a complete change of landscape: clear sky, burning heat and scarce vegetation. Just before the entrance to the national parc of Mole, the village of Larabanga is home to the oldest mud mosque in Ghana. In front of this monument, the kids of the village have established their playground.
