Photographer’s Note
The journey continues:
This photo from our recent travels shows the amazing rock colours and landscape of the Dades valley in Morocco. The road in is narrow and lined with children (and their parents) trying to sell something. There had been rain so there were quite a few wash aways so plenty of reasons for careful driving.
In one section, the subject of the photo, the rocks are a red/purple colour quite unlike anything we'd seen before. The colour of the rocks provides a contrast to the remains of the Kasbah and the green of the area of cultivation along the river. The challenge is to present a photo the reflects the true colour. I think I have but I actually needed to cut back on the saturation otherwise you wouldn't believe the colour.

Hi Ian,
A very unique landscape, the colours of the rock formations are as you say, amazing.
I can see the ruins of a building in the middle of the shot, were you amazed at the number of ruined buildings, I know I was. They seemed to be everywhere.
Good shot.
Regards
Peter
