The Wood House Photo

Photographer’s Note

I took this photo during my stay in Cikopo Inn Hotel, Bogor, 100 km from Jakarta. This resort hotel is unique since all of the cottages are built of wood and the whole complex is located on top of the hill overseeing the main street below and mountain above. The cottage in the photo houses 3 bedrooms, kitchen, and dining room, and everything is arranged in such a way that it maintains its touch with the nature.
To enhance the color, I use Cokin orange filter and increase the contrast with Photoshop.

well the size of image has lost its charm...great colors and sunlight on house is awesome...but image is too small...overall nice shot..

What a splendid mood created with this photo. Looks like a fairy tale. The brick path lead right to the focal point and the tree on the left a nice framing element. Great colors, too.
