Photographer's Note
The Frydlant castle lies in the north of the Czech Republic, near the Polish border, it consists of a fortress and a residential part. The tower of the castle (Indica) was used as an observation point.
The castle was built In the 13th century by the mighty Ronovsky family. In 1278 it became the residence of the House of Bieberstein. It was a gift from the Bohemian king Ottokar II for their support against the Habsburg King Rudolf I of Germany. In 1554 the castle was bought by the noble family von Redern, to 1634 the castle was ruled by Albrecht von Wallenstein. The estate then passed to the Austrian commander Matthias Gallas, whose descendants (Clam-Gallas) held it until 1945.
Since 1801 the castle is a museum (one of the first in Europe), today one of the most visited in the Czech Republic.

Bonjour, cher Ryszard,
Merci d'avoir bien voulu dresser les origines du château (mi résidence, mi forteresse) donnant à cette composition plus de force quant à sa compréhension.
L'image est fort bien présentée.
Amitiés.

Hello Ryszard,
The change in use over the years from fortified castle to luxury residence can be identified through the mix of architectural styles. Your well chosen point of view shows them to great effect. Agreeable soft lights and colours with excellent clarity complete a fine presentation.

Hello Ryszard,
The castle is nice and the left part of it seems to have a kind of "flatiron" design. I like the green surroundings. Fine light and a good exposure.
Kind regards,
Gert

Cześc Ryszard,
Good shadow detail and well managed backlight that still retains a lot of color and good saturation. Nice sharpness too in this impressive castle. Tfs!

Hello Ryszard
You choose an unexpected, but very interesting POV for this good picture of the castle. This part of the building seems to warn the enemy to stay out of the way.
Beautiful sunshine and excellent colours are also strong points of the picture.

Hello Ryszard,
A great picture of this castle. I really like its warm, yellow colours, especially stand out very nicely from the blue sky and it is also very nicely surrounded by a lot of greenery in the foreground. You chose a good POV and composition.

Hello Ryszard,
A beautiful castle and at the same time it looks impressive and well protected with the high walls defining the moat.
There's no more water in but we find a fresh green grassfield.
As mentioned by other members, the left part of the defensive wall looks like a medieval flatiron.
Best regards, Paul

Czesc Ryszard,
swietny punkt widzenia. Swiatlo troche trudne ale wynik wpada w oko, glownie dzieki niesamowitej geometrii. Bardzo dobrze przemyslana kompozycja.
Doskonaly efekt koncowy.
Pozdrawiam serdecznie,

Dear Ryszard!
Robi wrażenie ten zamek, świetnie go zdjąłeś, znalazłeś taki POV, że zamek wygląda niczym plynący po morzu statek. Robi wrażenie, naprawdę.
Ładne światło, ładne barwy, dobra ostrość.
Well done!
