I have prepared few more photos of Notre Dame de Paris, but the Easter weekend happened to be so beautiful in England that I managed to visit several attractive destinations.
This photo is of particular value for me because I mark with it a new county on my TrekEarth map of United Kingdom. Dumfries and Galloway is quite a large county in Scotland and yet not too popular on TrekEarth or in the guidebooks to the UK.
This photo presents Caerlaverock Castle.
It is a great material for a drone photography because from above it has a plan of a triangle and is surrounded by a water-filled moat. I had a wonderful weather on that day, I cannot complain but the uniformly blue sky around the noon is not too photogenic. Nevertheless, I was quite excited to venture to a new county again.

Hello Mariusz,
This must once have been a beautiful and imposing castle and its ruins still look wonderful too, especially in this lovely spring sunlight. I particularly like the round tower on the corner. You chose an excellent viewpoint. I, too, visited some new places last weekend, when the weather was so beautiful, and I was inspired by some of your recent photos. Coming soon. :-)

Hello Mariusz,
What an attractive ruin, with lovely round towers, seemingly topped by additions which resemble hats, or wigs! You have featured them extremely well, creating an excellent 3D effect as well as a great sense of depth.
The green surround, contrasting colour-wise and texturally with the moat and its reflections, are a very effective preamble to the focal castle, perfectly sharp in your photograph.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hi Bonjour dear Mariusz
As usual so sharp and clear presentation in the best framework. Bleak atmosphere is so nicely prensented through half broken walls. So tasty and significant postcard image.
All the best and have a good day! Takero

Hi Mariusz
Its been great weather here as well.
This almost looks like a leggo castle that some child had half wrecked (maybe one of my grandsons).
It is a very interesting castle with a mixture of intact and collapsed. Wel taken afrom a good POV.

Hello Mariusz,
Although in ruins the castle is impressive and retains a certain charm with its orange toned brickwork. The point of view is well chosen making good use of the perspective offered by the two towers. Nicely exposed with pleasant soft lights and colours and good sharpness.

The sky is a bit pale. I like this shot though. It depcits the ruins in a nice way.

Hello Mariusz
It surprises me time and again how many of these derelict castles are in Great Britain.
Again, it is easy to imagine how beautiful this castle must have been in its glory days.
A nice tip for Craig to go here with his drone.
Excellent work
Have a nice day. Groet Rob

Ciao Mariusz
credo che tu abbia scelto con molta attenzione l'angolo giusto per scattare la foto, si vede sia la parte in rovina, sia le due torri con un bellissimo effetto del riflesso.
Saluti

Hi Mariusz,
It's been many, many years since I visited this castle and I'd forgotten just how lovely it is until I saw your very fine photograph just now! I really must go down there for a visit very soon, not only to see the castle itself but I also believe there's a lot of wildlife, particularly birds, around here too.
You had a gorgeous day for your visit and you have captured this curious triangular structure perfectly here with lovely light, fine colours and excellent details and clarity in this lovely peaceful composition.
Beautiful!
Kind Regards,
John.

Hello Mariusz ,
The easter weekend was too beautiful : not any cloud to decorate the blue sky :).
This is a superb old ruin . May be that it will be rebuilt in the future . Near my home there is a quite similar castle that was almost in the same condition some decades ago . And now it is splendid.

Hello Mariusz.
Wow .... what a splendid situation of this ruined castle,
part of it surrounded by water, which was more defensible, despite its ruinous part is splendid with these large circular towers.
The management of color and light, are magnificent, highlighting the beauty and sharpness of the image.
Very well done. I like it
Enjoy a good day
Very best regards.
Luis.

Mariusz, i find that castle in ruins surrounded by a water filled moat very mysterious. It is rare to enjoy such cloud less blue sky in that region of Scotland. It is the perfect place for an outing. I like the green landscape around the building. Neat photo
