js, i just discovered your album and am impressed by the diverseness and volume which your photos speak (of the world). this photo, and accompanying note, is especially insightful into a culture and religion i know very little about. photos like this make me appreciate a site like trekearth even more because you are not only looking at interesting or beautiful photos, but learning about different places and cultures throughout the world as well. well done, js. although the photo is not 100% technically perfect (ie. a bit blurry), it speaks volumes and is very much appreciated. thanks. james

awesome photo. one of the best shots from an aiplane i've seen. you caught a unique and beautiful moment here. this could easily be mistaken for a snow/ice covered lake. james

vincent, i like this photo a lot, it tells a story. interesting perspective of the tank with the ruins in the background. the sepia tones were a good choice for it helps me concentrate on the subject and the texture of the tank and landscape. i do agree that a little crop off the top would add to the photo. otherwise, well done. james

harun, i really like your photos from iran (this one especially). wish there was a note, but the title implies a lot. i wonder what life is like under that cloak. this is a sad photo of real life. however, i like the mystical feel to it with the light shining down from above, as if the world has forgotten this person, but god hasn't. this may not be far from the truth. james

helmut, i really appreciate your photos, especially this one (there are not many photos from haiti on the this site). i've spent some time in haiti and this photo reminds me of a memory i have catching a boat in la calle. i like the dignity of this photo, the man's confident pose, his weathered hat, and that amazing sail! it tells a story and has a real beauty to it. also, the quality of the image is superb, i like the balance of light and dark, but wish you were able to get both his hands into the photo. besides that, it's a great capture. james

amazing moment! the light makes the photo. i like the crop as well. well done. just wish there was a big fat spider hanging out in the middle of the web, or better yet, dangling half way down between the web and the fence. try training one! james
