Hello Dear Angshuman-san! The quality of the lighting in the image is sparkling, and the air seems to be so clean. This photo not only captured the subject mentioned in your wonderful note, but it shows us the quality of the air surrounding the structure mentioned in your note. I wonder what the altitude of this particular spot is like. The colours of the sky suggest that the stupa is found at an altitude already reaching quite a high elevation. The photo has this quality of the air not available at the lower altitudes (?). The sunlight sheering through the image is quite dramatic and the stupa stands there majestically. Here once again we are presented with stunning image quality. The colours are not too outspoken. And the mountain range appearing over the roofline is an absolute delight. I must say this again; the lighting and the air in this image are so overwhelming. With my very best and kind regards, Have a pleasant Sunday evening, Angshuman-san Nobu.

Hello Dear Lakshmi! The neighbourhood is so photogenic. As we are led through many of the attractive streets of Manhattan, those row houses present themselves very charmingly. Although all the façades appear the same, there seems to be a slight difference in the configurations in the design of the façades. I wonder when they were built. Off course, I have never seen these houses before. This view will not be available in a few weeks. The leaves on the trees in front of the houses will hide the façades. From inside though the occupants of those houses will have wonderful views of those trees in front of their windows. The springtime on this street must be so inviting. The strong perspective draws us in to the scene. We appreciate very much the latest image from your Manhattan. With my warmest regards, Have a lovely Sunday, Lakshmi Nobu.

Hello Dear Lakshmi! We used to wrap some of our foods with natural leaves, but unfortunately they are now replaced by plastic imitations. Here in the photo, the people are being served with genuine leaves. The image depicts skilfully a scene in which the people at a festivity wait patiently for their turn. The young gentleman is politely raising his hand and asking not to be served too much. This photo is like a group portrait. The diagonally positioned scene, from the upper right-hand corner down to the lower left-hand corner, the view flows very smoothly like the serving of the meals. You must have blended in with the group ever so naturally, the people’s acceptance can be well felt, this is a very nice daily life captured with very realistic eyes, and a very rare moment too. The atmosphere of the scene is nicely presented. With my very best and kind regards, Have a very pleasant evening, Lakshmi Nobu.

Hello Maurizio, The low position of the point of view with a very steep angle of the view, it gives the façade of the church a great dignity. The colours of the façade represent effectively those of the south. The statue standing in front of the building further accentuates positively the integrity of the image. All the details presented in the image are stunningly clear. The perfectly clear sky completes the ambience of the scene surrounding the church and the statue. The entire image is achieved with compositional balance and the original impact. This is a very successful architectural image bringing out the charm of the subjects very nicely. With my very best and warm regards, Have a very productive weekend, Maurizio Nobu.

Hello Dear Lakshmi ! The quality of the light in this photo reflects the arrival of springtime for me even though the trees in the image still have bare branches. But the shadows reflecting on the brick walls and the red door are already profusely radiating warmth of the early springtime. Your very informative note helps me to imagine the area where you have spent a good part of the afternoon yesterday. The symmetrical setup of the photo make us focus on the centrally located door. The image carries a kind of realism. The door feels as though it is about to open and the occupant of the house behind the door could appear at any moment. The warm and friendly feel, which the image carries, bring us a very uplifting feeling. This is a very lovely shot. I could imagine making a trans cultural series on the subject. With my best and kindest regards Have a equally lovely Saturday, Lakshmi Nobu.

Hello Dear Lakshmi! Here is another fine portrait taken at a very close distance. A mother and child, they look so pleased and satisfied. Since I am not good at taking portrait of people or taking photos in general, it is always very nice to find portraiture done well. The double portrait is even more difficult. The photo captures a very well chosen moment with a very nicely chosen angle. I love the expression found on the face of the mother as much as on the child. The lovely moment is captured with care. You must have enjoyed the moment, and now we get to enjoy the result. This is a type of scene I would have shied away from, but you didn’t I like the photo, it is very nicely taken and presented. With my best and warm regards, Have a very nice Friday evening, Lakshmi Nobu.

Hello Dear Lakshmi ! The well-textured temple façade imposes an overwhelming presence in the image. And the deeply curved out surfaces create a very successful backdrop to the scene depicted. With the unknown expanse and the extent of the façade and the warm tone in its surfaces, for the background itself it is worth seeing this photo. Combined with the presence of a few people in front of the surface, the image is successfully activated for the presentation. It is incredible how beliefs can create a structure of this size and of this presence all in stone. The photo caries effectively the message, I wonder how those people climbed to the level of the façade where they are found in the photo. It is a very well framed and is nicely presented. With my best and kindest regards, Have a very pleasant Friday, Lakshmi Nobu.

Hello Maria, I have just read your note and have learned what has taken place here in this park. It is very difficult for me to imagine the event, this park seems so peaceful. We are often out there with very expensive equipment; it could have happened to one of us. I found the situation so chilling and very unfortunate. Having said this, the park is so beautiful now with all the trees and the green lawn. And the building on the left side of the photo is a stunningly attractive example of architecture, which is facing this beautiful park. The rose colour flowers and distant trees are a very soothing example of the arrival of the springtime. The sunlight, and the peaceful atmosphere, the presented image is captivating in many ways. I appreciate your visit today. I hope that we will meet again in near future. With my very best and kind regards, have a very pleasant day, Thank you, Maria Nobu.

Hello Dear Lakshmi !! He saw you taking some photos of them. The boy seems to be very happy. The father was caught off guard, and the mother was too busy at the moment. I wonder what he was waiting for, a soft drink, or else something very sweet. But I can imagine the situation, which followed this moment. This is a very nice daily life captured with an unexpected turn of events. Happiness lies and comes in a variety of ways. I like the moment, as it is a very life size happiness. This young gentleman probably still remembers the moment. Here is another situation in which the distant in between the subject and the photographer is very close. And how courageous you were to take a good opportunity, and turn it into a very nice photo. I couldn’t have done this. A page full of good memories during the journey is well taken, the good smile of this boy is worth a thousand words. With my very best and kind regards, Have a very nice evening, Lakshmi Nobu.

Hello Madhumita ! How are you? It’s very nice to hear from you!! This is a very artistic entry. I love the “Bokeh” (Out of focus area). It is so thin that the main subject receives the most fascinating attention. This is indeed an image that we don’t get to see very often on TE. I love the purity of the image provided for us. The colour pigments in focus are so lovely, and the idea is very original. The idea to let the observer imagine the greater context, your eyes do find a unique approach. In this case I am positively compelled to see the colourful idea shining in the frame. With my very best and kind regards, Have very productive hours, Madhumita Thank you! Nobu.
