Before coming and stamping my comment here, I took the liberty to browse your other works. Frankly, anyone shooting with her heart and mind of what she is seeing passionately, you can't go wrong expressing what you are seeing. Panning this young cyclist as he is crossing the road shows your creative mind in depicting his movement, thoughtfully.

This is good Sham. The outline of the islands neighboring on the way to Maiga Island, with the cerulean or azure green sea along the way, with a view of its sea bed of lively corals and marine lives.

Looks much better or more creative than some covered bridges elsewhere. I like scene such as this: rural, bucolic with the signature green of rice field. As photo also paints a thousand words, the photographer's words actually count for much and definitive.

Hi Urs,
I like very much editorial related photos. It tells how thing is elsewhere and unlike the "I was here" photo which is generally the " shoot & go" theme of guided tourists. This is a thoughtful composition exposing the winged friends milling around leftovers offered by the temple's devotees.

It has been a long time my friend. I see you are still trekking/walking and getting good photos along the way. Refreshing tones and colors and saturated as always. You must have had climbed up the knoll to have this better perspective my friend.

They posed or not, I wouldn't want to go face off with any of them. Their sarongs really in contrast with their black uniforms but most of all, they have all the sweetest of smiles.

This lane looks familiar. Sugarcane countryside with its rolling low hills delineated with working lanes and checkered lots. I didn't feel I was in a Malay state when I was there then.

I wouldn't have known this photo was taken by a PHD camera. Detail and colors is good and most like,a Dslr would have produce the same result. I am guessing, sooner than later, you might even upgrade your current P&S to a better version yes :)

Salam my dear friend, this a bucolic scene and pretty closely related to the wide green rice vista of Kodiang. I believe the green is the dominating colors of Kedah and Perlis by this time. I also like the two motorbikes parking side by side. Personally, Kedah is home to the breakneck bikeracers burning rubbers on some city streets.

Not being an Australian, I would not have known what it refers to when someone said anything about the coathanger behind the Opera House. The polarizer worked well saturating the colors of this work. It even give a graduation of the blue sky.
By the way, thank you for working on my Takob Akob Waterfalls. Your edition looks better than mine.

Very nice impression from the festival, Takero. Good detail not only on the artistic print of the uniform, but also the surface texture of the cloth is quite well rendered. The strong tele-lens also gave you a fine DOF to offset the guy in the background. Well seen.

Hi Pierre. A nice sweeping view across the vineyards, showing the pleasant and scenic location of this village. The vivid seasonal colors and details are well accentuated by the good lighting that you had when taking this photo. Good notes, too.

As a workshop, and as a present for you, I will post a photo that I took two months ago of these jizo statues at the same location. Sorry for the small size, I don't have a bigger one available at the moment.

Indeed a calming and soothing view here, Philippe. The reflections amplify the impact of this peaceful view with the old roofs making an appearance amidst the vivid greenery.

Hello John. This looks like a pleasant place that you are well presenting with the wide-angle lens that strengthens a feeling of depth and perspective, as usual in your photos. The contrast is also good, and the reflections are well utilized to amplify a quiet overall mood. I am however a little disturbed by two things: (1) the photo looks quite oversharpened, and (2) the framing/cropping is a bit unfortunate, leaving little space for the rooftops and treetops in the upper area, but instead giving a little too much attention to the not overly interesting foreground. I hope you don't mind my honest opinion here.

Delightful view from the old village, Pierre. Rich details in the vivid color setting, and I like the colorful signs of human life added by the flowers and umbrella. It appears to be a quiet and relaxing village.

The workshop photo is also nice, I even think it is a bit better than this main photo here.
