Va bene la foto (anche se il Gallo purtroppo non si vede) ma affermare che Vittorio Gallinari, padre di Danilo, è stato un grande giocatore mi sembra un pò troppo. Era simpatico (durante un torneo estivo disputatosi a Messina ho avuto modi di parlarci insieme al mio prof di educazione fidica e allenatore di basket, tale Gullifa). Ricordare tutto ciò mi fa sentire più vecchio di quello che sono.

P.s. Sono stato anche io un giocatore di basket: militavo nella mitica Garegnano insieme a tale Fabio Nastasi che tu dovresti conoscere.

E' un bel ritratto e la tagelmus fa da cornice perfetta al volto dell'uomo con lo sguardo perduto in chissà quali pensieri. Ho fatto un workshop tagliando l'immagine, sacrificando la tagelmus ma valorizzando lo sguardo dell'uomo ed eliminando il brutto sfondo.

Le foto di strada sono le più divertenti. La prima cosa da imparare secondo la mia esperienza è quella di mimetizzarsi in mezzo alla gente; il che non significa scattare di nascosto ma far in modo che la tua presenza in mezzo agli altri sia naturale, accettata. Arrivare sul posto, non fotografare subito, far vedere che si è interessati a quel che succede intorno, far capire che si vuol prendere parte e comprendere meglio; sorridere in modo da cercare un tacito consenso allo scatto. Tutto ciò vale fino se proprio non c'è una situazione che è necessario catturare al volo: allora si scatta e basta sempre che non ciò non significhi mettere a rischio la propria sicurezza.
Accattivante fotografia di strada: se non fosse per il marchio Nutella e per la bottiglia di plastica in primo piano sembrerebbe scattata negli anni 40/50.

B) interesting comment. I left TE for a while and am just getting back into it and your note explains the differences I have encountered. I miss all my TE friends, though...

great colors and nice tight cropping. i normally don't like such a posed picture but this still really captures her emotion. also, love the camels in the background for context.

well seen. very sweet picture. i like the square cropping and the kids being off-centred. i do like the use of a frame, however i feel like the yellow frame detracts from the bright colors of the kids clothing. a white or black border would work well.

i feel like this is an interesting place, with a lot of interesting colors, but this photo isn't bright enough and does not have a clear enough focal point.

the sky looks like it is on fire, what brilliant shades! my favorite part is the composition of the sillouette overlooking the city lights. i am unsure if i like the light in the right corner. i think i would prefer the composition of this if it were just shades of orange and black.

lovely crisp colors, and very balanced. the foreground really makes this shot, giving the scene perspective and also the shadows make us appreciate the sun falling on the sands. well done!

very nice, close shot! the tightness of the cropping really works well, capturing the textures, as does the symmetry. the trunk divides the photo in half and our eye is drawn to his eye.

well done, nice motion in the water. i have been to this place, i'm sure you were in a slippery position nearly under the bridge to capture this and capture it at a good angle.
