Great aurora_borealis 2009-05-02 5:38

Hello Sayeed
a very nice composition. One can imagine how big the statue is with the heads of the two people beside.
I was in Sikkim around the same time as you took this was really hazy, so i had no luck in seeing mt. kandchenzonga.
Have a nice weekend.

Hi Sayeed,

I feel with you, we were hoping so much to see kanchenzonga in full splendour.
Luckily we catched a glimpse of the mountain in the early morning just before we left sikkim (around the 23rd.)
Though it wasn't really much we've seen, as there were lots of clouds forming around kanchenzonga already.

I guess around that the 20th march we were in northern sikkim, in lachung and lachen(where it was snowing or rainig quite a lot), so it wasn't me you've seen on that date :-)
