Well, he is a pro and we are just amateurs. But Ive seen plenty of photos on TE that are not much worse than those. Although a few of those shots are just stunning.

Hi Rafal, thank you for the reply. i dont think pro or amateurs is the key of this problem. there also have some pro in TE. and amateurs can be pro in some day, pro not sure must have been trained by pro. i means the most important is the thought or the heart, the concern(dont know how to say in English). IMO, it seems the sweet photos are very welcomed in TE, the suffering is out. many people refuse to accept the powerful photos.of course we all enjoy sweet, bright life, but the reality is... well, i cant say so much, i am afraid i will be scolded.

Well, I think 1 big difference is ACCESS. A pro like Morenatti knows how to get great access and has more possibilities to find those connections. Most people here on TE are traveling and doing travel photography... not spending months in 1 region just for the purpose of photography, they are journalists, they learn the entire situation, it is more than just getting images. Guys like Morenatti are not travel photographers, they have completely different goals for their projects... they are telling the story of a cause, not of a place. But either story is worthy of being told.

my 2 pesos.

100 % in agreement with Mingfang here... The goal is not to compare TE and outsiders... For me it is more about appreciating good work.. Nothing personal against anyone.. just my thoughts... Bala
