Hi Frits,
I love close portraits and this one is simply amazing. I guess this lady is Burmese and not Thai. I had heard that the Burmese had this kind of a tradition or maybe I am wrong?

Hello Sabyasachi. You are right it is Burma but I could not find that in the list. These people sit in a valley and I think that the langnek ladies are never from the valley. It is indeed a tradition and they get every one year a ring. More over it is very heavy in weight.
