Great horatiuTT 2008-04-18 12:05

Superb scene, great framing good subject nothing to complain about
this one,it seems that Cuba is a great source of inspiration for
many photographers.Maybe I would have preferred a black and white
one and maybe a slightly more sharpened face, but it's a matter of
tastes no?Respect,
Horatiu

Default To horatiuTT: Workshop

Hi Horatiu,

I actually prefer b/w for this photo as well, but keeping with the rest of the series in Cuba, I decided to go with color. I like your workshop but I think it's hard to get the skin on the face just right without the original photo. I'm posting a workshop of the b/w conversation I did with raw.

Best,
Mark

I've seen your WS,I wanted to play a bit,so I went for some slightly blue tones, more
contrast a grainy background, and the most important increased the sharpeness of the face, anyway these are small details, the photo is great itself.Regards,
Horatiu
