Great batalay 2010-08-01 20:30

Hello Biswaroop,

This is an astonishingly beautiful shot of the Nanda Devi. I cannot believe that a mountain soaring to 7815 m can be only the 23rd highest peak. Evocative of a canine tooth, it is so very steep, virtually vertical in one area. Did you shoot in RAW mode, or jpg? In the former, you may have recovered some of the information.

Warm regards,

Thumbs up To ikeharel: latitude

Your observation makes sense. I live in Southern Quebec, Canada, and the sun is never in the zenith. Imagine Yukon, much farther north!!! Voilą... it's because of the Northern latitude!
