Great marcan44 2008-09-03 14:41

Ciao Francesco,
bella e imponente questa chiesa che differisce da le altre postate per il biancore della facciata.
Il POV e ben studiato e devo ammettere che non c'Ť niente da criticare.
Perfetta esposizione e dettagli ottimi in tutte le zone.
Bravissimo
Un abbraccio
Mario

Default To skippy007: photos..

Hello Santo,
and thank you very much for your comment!:)
When I look at many of my old photos taken with film cameras, at the scanned images, I keep asking myselа whether I shuld post them on TE, in the era of sophisticated digital photography... nowadays some of such "film" photos may seem odd and will look more like a drawing.. but then I think that even if it is so, these photos convey the mood of the moment, or, perhaps, a bit of History (maybe right now this area looks different). Each moment captured by a camera is unique and you can't repeat it, even if you come to the same place with a different camera... no matter how hard you try.
Kind regards!
Elena

Hello Elena, I agree with what you said, I have some photos take with a film camera & often I think that I would like to post them but always decide against that because I feel that they lack the quality but what is missing in quality is usually made up for in atmosphere, In the end if you like that is all that matters. I have just posted my first scanned image because it was special to me. I may post some more later. I have been encouraged by Gert.
Regards
Santo

Default scanned photos..

Hello Santo,
I've seen the photo you scanned and posted. I'll be looking forward to seeing more scanned images, then :)
In fact, I, too, was much inspired by the scanned photos which Gert posted! amazing contagious example ;)
best regards,
Elena
