Mapping our photos

I've found that when I'm loading my photos I'm entering geographical coordinates of place, where picture been taken. But enter window doesn't have East/West and South/North options, - therefore picture, taken in Southern Hemisphere, for example, on New Zealand's West Coast, appears in Northern (near Bering Sea). How do we fix that?

You should have a look to Google Earth
For South and West Coordination you must add the sign-
Example for Montevideo
Latitude: -34.83354
Longitude: -5616678, with the sign "-" on the left.
