I can understand why you perceived it as a toy for it resembles Kermit the Frog from its colour and long toes!

You were lucky to spot and photograph such an unusual creature which looks to be playing hide-and-seek with you.

in one of my last posts of this long series, that I will post many months ahead, I will show an adult of them, larger and less green, walking in the side walk of my hotel.
