Very strange bullring. It's very mediterranean, with that white walls to prevent the extreme hot. Nice POV. You have discovered to us a very nice place, Geof.

Default To Persuasor: hi

the bull ring is in estepona port..malaga
the idea is you dont have to climb stairs inside to get to the high seats..you can walk on the outside on a ramp.

Estepona Bullring

The bullring dates back to 1972 and, from within, resembles the typical concrete architecture of this era. It looks like seventies concrete architecture from the inside. From the outside it is more interesting, due to the unique asymmetric design created by Juan Moro Urbano. The exterior is landscaped to allow access to the upper terraces without the necessity of steps.

The bullring also houses the Municipal Museums of Bullfighting and a Museum of Agriculture, Fossils and .Archaelogoly

There are about 16 bullfights held annually, usually on a Sunday afternoon. The most popular is the one that takes place during the town's feria at the beginning of July.

The bullring is also used as a concert venue during the summer months. Monica Naranjos, Electric Light Orchestra, Helen Shapiro, Sarah Baras, Paco de Lucia, Kool and the Gang, Boney M, George McRae, have all performed recently.
