Great sayeed_rahman 2007-11-29 9:34

Hello Geoff..think the sunlight was too strong..the colours have cooled down a bit..think a higher saturation would have made this shot stand out..i am imagining a wide shot..a paanorama..would be interesting as there are minimal elements over the empty stretches of land..Interesting the way the linear strip of land has a few solitary trees..wonder why ?

Cheers
Sayeed

Default To sayeed_rahman: hi

you are right..the sun was hazy and mid to low winter level
the original shot without any pp was worse so i must apologise for not hitting the button harder...but in fairness this is how england looks on a warm hazy lazy winters day with low sun...and i love it
cheers
geof

ps..i think the trees if any which were there and in history there were great forests in england..have been removed for grazing. where there are walls some trees are left to offer shelter for the animals and the birds
nowadays farmers are encouraged to leave more trees and hedgerows for ecological reasons and even create little swamps and ponds..
