Great rogerl 2013-01-17 15:48

What a great photo! It almost looks like a woodcut, with the sharpness of the lines. Is it looking west, with that the Manhattan skyline? Clearly in the 19th century, or perhaps early 20th, since there are no cars. In any case, this is a wonderful print.

Smile To rogerl: cars are underneath

the top portion of the Brooklyn Bridge is for pedestrians. The cars are lower ( not seen in this photo) Looking at the clothing styles of the people, I am assuming this was taken in the past 20 years.
