my cousin learned in this university (history), unfortunately she died. nice view of the many levels of the buildings and the Torre da Cabra in the top. do you know the fado song COIMBRA? it is a traditional old song with beautiful lyrics that make poetry using the university elements mixed with a man trying to seduce a woman.

To jmdias: Fado
Hi Jorge,
indeed in Coimbra we went to a Fado concert. I am not sure whether this song was there, I had obviously no idea what they were singing about  I usually try to see a local folklore if I can only afford it, like Flamenco in Andalusia or Tango show in Buenos Aires. So we went to a Fado concert. I must say I am not a big fan of it but it was certainly interesting to be there. Kind regards, Mariusz
