Photographer's Note
Cairo skyline taken from an abandoned mosque near Khan El Khalili Souq. The mosgue on the left is a mosque of Muhammad Ali situated in the Citadel of Cairo. On the right are the mosques of Ibn Tulun, among them Mosque-Madrassa of Sultan Hassan (lately also known by every taxi driver in Cairo as the mosque visited by President Barack Obama).

Greetings Andrey,
A very nice photograph which responds very well to a B&W treatment. I was tempted to talk about the timeless qualiities of the view, but I suspect the satellite dishes in the bottom right have been kept in on purpose to stop that sort of lazy critique. A very nice mixture of ancient and modern culture. Thank you, regards, Iain

Hi Andrey,
Interesting capture, a weird and mysterious scene. I think there you can leave the natural colors and still get a sepia effect. Good composition, well done.
Have a great day.
