Photographer's Note
Window store at Cairo downtown, near Midan Ataba and also Ataba Metro station. In this area there are many windows like this one, selling clothes for children. Full of colors and with funny repetition effects. There's quantity and variety, but at the same time, they seem all alike - there's no particular one that you can distinguish from the others. I wonder if they can seduce the parents that pass by in a rush.

The colours are fantastic & so is the clarity. The passerbies add to the DOF. This could be from any country, but I guess looking at the people can bring down the choice. Like your framing through the walking people. Different pic. from Egypt...well done my friend!

Hi Ricardo,
Great photo of this shop window. Very well seen and captured as it creates a wonderful and colourful view. I love the repetition and the colours are really vivid and they are also a nice contrast with the dark silhouettes of the people. Great work!

Hello Ricardo!
Very nice new daily life picture, I like your idea a lot and the moment you took the picture was the exactly right one.
The man on the right is a little bit unsharp, but I actually like this effect, so you can see the movement very well. You also caught those two persons on the left very well.
And in the middle....this colorful world of clothing, really nice!
Also thanks for the WS....Gracias!

Jonas

Ricardo,
Superb exposure here !
I like how the numerous dolls create an atmosphere, with the people going by in front of them.

Hi Ricardo.
Really a fun picture (and also the WS). I like it very much and the people crossing the street add a lot of interest to this picture and its doll-background.

Ola Ric,
I see that you are now taking the risk, being as close to people as possible. I can imagine how streesed you were while pressing the button, but little by little, getting close to people is good :))
The BG? LOL, it is great :)

good framing with the men on both sides... it's clear that (at least) one of the by-passers got seduced and cannot turn his head away from this myriad of dolls...
(i'd be doing the same as he's doing, most probably)...

A funny compo with all blonde dolls in a mainly dark hair country! The passers by add context and dynamism to the scene

Hi Ricardo,
Good picture with a great invitation to make up a story. The man from the right, ignoring the dolls and the other man looking .... yes how are the looking?

This is a striking and really surreal image,Ricardo, with the dark, ghostly figures against the phalanx of cloned , plastic children. The effect is very fascinating. regards kevin

Hi Ricardo. Beautiful pinky perspective. So many sweet cute innocent faces of the dolls. Framing with the passing walkers is really a nice concept. You have an eye or eyes! Great. Regards.

Hi Ricardo,
One would say a choral society of children !!! An original photograph as is this Egyptian window… I like the contrast of light with the foreground where these passers by create a good dynamics with the image. By seeing the other window in WS I see that the Egyptians have the choice to equip their children !!!
With all my friendships and a very good day,

A great daily life moment, a great "modern life" composition. Including the men was a great idea, to have the rush sensation (compared to the ws for example) and to have contrast between the dollies world and the real one. Well seen.

Excellent, this window with children wear - looks a bit strange, but you have to look at it. The passer by add to the DOF. Color hues are vibrant and the sharpness is fine. Well done, my friend
Thanks for your critique of my fish market in Penang. Yes, that is my favorite position, standing with the vendors, to show the action from their side. Everybody does the other side, the customer side, what I think has been made far too often. It needs a fresh approach. When you are a fish lover, then come over to Thailand and Malaysia, there is plenty of fish.
Best regards
Urs
