This was taken in 1978 when it was still possible to climb up. It took some minutes to get there but the view was breathtaking.

Hello Wolfgang,
I know it was once allowed to climb the pyramids but not that it was still allowed in the late 1970's.
That was really an exclusive event that provided you an exceptional photo.
Only a few minutes to get to the top?

Great pyramid, interesting angle to take the view, very photogenic, good effect with contrast between sunlight and shadows, tfs.
