tried to lessen the noise a bit this time.
hence the work on the nile
taken from crocodile island..just outside luxor.

The picture lack a little from the grain. But else, the composition with the elegant boat and sail is super in the very good colour and light setting.

Le bruit concerne la photo numérique et le grain concerne la photo argentique. Toutefois il était possible d'utiliser un film de 200 ISO pour une exposition de f/4 à 1/60 s, afin d'obtenir moins de grain.

The noise relates to the numerical photograph and the grain relates to the silver photograph. However it was possible to use a film of 200 ISO for an exposure of f/4 at 1/60 S, in order to obtain less grain.

It's really a very nice composition with great tones. I looks like a painting. I've done a workshop trying to reduce the noise. Hope you like it.

Could be a painting the boats are so well diposed the diffrent tones of yellow and the blue sky is just perfect.The moise is taking off some of the positiveness.

Superb composition. The triangular position of these three felluccas combined to the triangular shape of the sail is just great. The warm colors and the gradiant blue of the sky are also perfect for that kind of scenery. I don't really mind the noise on such an atmospheric shot, it adds to the feeling.

This is gorgeous image, wonderfully composed. I took a shot at ridding the image of noise without diminishing even further the softness of the foreground elements, as happened in the first workshop. You can see what you think.

Geof, fantastic view of this scene. Don't worry about the 'noise'. Have a look at Photoshop and use some of the creative filters to turn into an 'oil painting' or something like that. It will work wonders. Best wishes, paul.
