Photographer's Note
I suppose that there are many changes in Luxor. Not only the Sphinx Avenue, but also the beautiful promenade along the Nile seems new, but I can't find on the Internet the details.
It has two levels. On the lower level, there are shops and places for relaxing and nice street art (reliefs and graffitis) that I will show later (if you would be interested). From the upper level, one can admire the views of the Nile and the West bank.
Two more pictures in the Workshops and as usual, see in the large format.
I hope you will find it interesting.

Hello Malgo,
I have no clear memories of what the Luxor riverside looked like 39 years ago, but I am at least 99% sure it was nothing like this. Everything looks very neat and tidy, but it was a more "exotic" area in 1983. The photos are good and interesting for showing the tremendous change. I would have cloned out the disturbing detail in the upper right corner of the main photo.
Best regards,
Gert

Hello Malgo,
Main photo has beautiful scenery over the mighty rivewr and the modern promenade built alongside.
Colors multitude with light and shadows mingling.
WS #2 shows the close proximity to the monumental temple from ancient era.
A place I'd visit, unless politics...
Good afternoon,
Ike

Hi Malgo,
The length of the sea front is creating depth. The pount of view is showing the details of the boats and of the promenade. The light is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.

Hi Malgo,
You have a good viewpoint on this higher level. Looks like a place where traditions and modernity mix. Famous city with wonderful history. And at least from this angle it doesn't look too touristy. Of course these days tourists are few and far between.

Ciao Malgo, this tourist area near the temples and the Nile offers a very tidy and very clean view, to the tourists who disembark you have to show the best, but just go a little bit into the city to see the differences, as we have seen in your recent photos of the village. Three beautiful perspectives excellently realized as always. Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano

Hello Małgorzata,
For me, this is such an unusual photograph from Luxor, not what I expected at all. However, it looks amazing, especially your second w/s.
The exposure is super, with good light and an abundance of interesting details.
My warm regards,
Bev 😊

Hello Malgo,
I've never been in Luxor but your three pictures show me a pretty modern part of Egypt.
Seeing such pictures without note I would never have guessed the country.
Lots of space for pedestrians, a broad avenue for the traffic and yet we see few people or cars. Did you take the photos at the hottest time of the day?
Best regards, Paul

Hi Malgo
Firstly, they don't call it a promenade or esplanade, but a 'corniche'. I only know this because of the Corniche in Alexandria along the seafront. Most of this was in place when I visited Luxor in 2016 but the shops seen here look new. There are 144 or 237 photos on this Trip Advisor site. Tfs

Hi Malgo.
None of this existed when I visited Luxor, this walk along the Nile is very beautiful, as well as that kind of viewpoint on the first floor with beautiful streetlights.
Extraordinary WS photos, which confirm how much the temple's surroundings have changed.
A magnificent color, which gives the image a lot of chromatic richness.
Optimum management of lighting and sharpness, with a good perspective.
Well done. I like it.
Have a good weekend.
Very best regards.
Luis.

Hello Malgo,
Luxor looks pretty developed, at least the waterfront. Three fine photos from this place, I appreciate the fact that we can see both levels in the main entry.
Regards,
MT
