Photographer's Note
This is the view of Hurghada, a photo taken from the plane, not far from the airport. It is the illustration of what I wrote yesterday. Along the coast there are resorts. They are luxurious, usually all-inclusive, with swimming pools, sunbeds, pool bars and so on. But you can't go to the neighbouring resorts (I tried but had to go back), and there is nothing around, so what to do there? Often it is far from the centre, so you have to go by taxi, I do not know anything about public transportation. Or you have to go for the "City tour" with the guide and the group. I made a good choice because my hotel was 45 min on foot from the centre and I went there twice.
Quite different was in Zanzibar, where the beach was common - I could go many kilometres along the sea, without seeing sunchairs umbrellas and tourists.
In Workshop 1 - another part, identified here:

I liked the view of Cairo from above, one can see quite clearly Nile and two islands with many bridges.
All better to see in the large format.

Interesting view from the plane, good clarity, interesting geography with the pools and green(sprayed) grass. A bit of an artificial tourist paradise, from what I heard. This view seems to confirm that, but it certainly is an interesting view and picture. Thanks for sharing it, Malgo. CHeers.

Hi Malgo,
The scenery is impressive. The pointof view is showing the details of the resorts on the edge of the sea. The light is making the colors to stand out. Have a nice day.

Hello Malgo,
First of all, your photo is really beautiful. Actually, it shows something fantastic.
But at the same time, the word immoral haunts my mind.
Water and greenery in abundance, even wasteful, in a barren and poor country.
Of course I've known for a long time that inequality is high in Egypt (and in so many other countries in the world).
I can only hope that these resorts provide employment to a lot of people and that their jobs make life a bit easier for them (as long as their cheap labour is not inhumanely exploited there).
I've never seen such sight from anywhere in Egypt before.
A photo that can be approached in two ways: admiration for what has been built up in Hurghada in recent decades and on the other hand a strong feeling of rejection to stay there.
Let me wander around Cairo then.
But I'm glad that you show us this picture.
Best regards, Paul

Hi Malgo
Now that is somewhere where I would not stay - I don't do resort areas! It has, however, made for a good photo with all those very blue pools and the sea. Another couple of interesting ones in the WS.
cheers

Hello Malgo,
This reminds me of my arrival in South Africa. When we were approaching Johannesburg it was easy to see which areas were white and which were black. The white areas had swimming-pools outside every house, the black areas didn't. This is a strange but interesting view and in a way quite beautiful, but it illustrates what I think is an absurdity of modern tourism: an area completely cut off from the regular society.
Have a nice weekend.

Ciao Malgo, the view of Cairo in WS is really impressive, good luck in photographing it with such clean air, generally it is very dusty here, and the details are excellent. Obviously the two of Hurghada are perfect, showing the coast devastated by the resorts with their pools, in fact Hurghada is a rather boring place and also offers little both in the city and in the surrounding area. Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano

Hello Malgo, this is a very interesting shot and thanks for your notes that explain our view.
I can see in the large version exactly what you mean about not being able to go for a walk, something that we like to do when we go to a new place.
Thank you for the w/s shots too.
Taken from the plane you did a good job.
Kind regards, Jean.

Good morning Malgo,
Hurghada is the modern resort area built by the Egyptians in the late 80th and really promoted tourists to this area .
Beautiful picture from above, green and blue colors stand out from the plane's window.
My best regards,
Ike

Hi Malgo,
Very clear view from an aircraft towards these resorts. Yes, people are quite disconnected from real life on such places. And no doubt many people prefer it that way.

Hi Malgo.
A fantastic great panoramic view from the plane, I already see the enormous maximization of the seashore, I already know a place I will never go, this type of resort does not attract me at all.
Very good the other two images of the WS.
Great color and perfect lighting and sharpness.
Good job. I like it.
Have a happy start of the week. Greetings

Dear Malgo,
A good presentation of the phenomenon of over-tourism and commercialization and of course this is a good areal-shot.
Best Wishes,

Piekny widok i swietne zdjecie.

Hello Malgo,
It looks very developed, but I can wee what you mean. It does not look like one can take nice strolls along the beach. It looks very crowded, as we say in Turkish, "et et üstüne" (flesh upon flesh). Three very nice photos from the air. (You had nice, clean airplane windows.)
