Four guys hanging out. Hanging out probably because at the moment there is no work that demands to be done, so why force the issue? There will be plenty of other times when there is no choice but to do the work.

Seen in the back alleys of Cairo.

If this had been taken in Turkey, i could claim that the guy was just about to throw his slipper at you, just in order to "drive the photographer away". Good street level reportage with the natives. Were it not the tyre of the cart, i would say, a timeless photo again.

This is a fascinating daily life image, Ken. The way the subjects are set out in a curving line across the frame, adds to the interest of the shot.You seem to have caught them in a natural pose and enjoying a social chat. Regards kevin

A bit more of a contrast would be definitively a valuable asset to this photo...

The work philosophy...

But of course if you a choice of doing the job later or not a at all - you always employ that choice...
The whole continents with billions of people on them - are religiously observing that great tradition of perfecting an art of doing nothn' - beautifully !!!

A timeless photo, appropriate in B&W. You've captured the quartet solving the world's problems, in a type of photograph one would see in an old Life Magazine in the 40s and 50s. Warm regards.
