Superb portrait with perfect sharpness on the eyes and fur. It obviously seems to be thinking of something. I wonder what? Even with a 135 mm lens you must have been relatively close.

Portraits of animals (or a people) need to have sharp eyes; their character resides there!
This is a wonderful close-up, the eyes are bright and reflective, showing a thoughtful mood.
I like how you have cropped this photograph, which contains excellent details, diagonally placed, using a shallow dof.

Hi Stephen,
This very close angle reminds of selfies younger generation likes to take. Correctly focused on the eyes with green background looks really good. I think this shows some of the personality of this monkey.
