At Kay Afar there is a weekly market with all manner of goods from livestock to sorghum beer. The people there are mostly of the Banna tribe. Closely related in appearance and language to the Hamer tribe. Here is one of them.

This is a very good portrait. You must have captured her in a matter of seconds, because she doesn't look like she noticed you. She is well placed to the side, with a perfect exposure and sharpness and a sufficiently blurred background.

Another good one in this great series of Ethiopian portraits. Either your timing is impeccable or you are a great negotiator - I never seem to manage either.
