Photographer's Note
we visited a masai village and this team welcomed us to do a welcome dance and the 'lion dance' where an honoured visitor is given a lions head to wear...fake...and can dance with them
later they did the jumping thing which is a praise and worship dance to their gods
in the evenings this troupe did their dance and singing in our lodges...the masai have become tourist businessmen

Hi Geof,
Interesting as a document picture, nice colours, but I'm not shure that it is true folklore image. Lets see watches on their hands. I think it is a pay show for tourists... But as a picture I like it. Best regards. maki
