the masai mara wildebeeste migration starts with a great amassing of herds scattered over hundreds of square miles.
soon they marshall themselves with their zebra companions into battalions ready for the march south.
then collectively they forge ahead towards the mara river to cross into tanzania
after my visit to kenya i have become very attached to these animals
even in their millions they exhibit singular traits and mannerisms which delight

Hi Geof
I looked at your galery and found this one, that remembered me of the caves in France. Those wildebeeste (that's almost Dutch) are often seen in archeologic paintings in caves. interesting picture.
