A stop in a school in the region of the Erg Amatlich along my way.
The pupils are always eager to allow me to take some shots as I broke for a while their routine.

Lovely portrait, pretty face, nice pose, does feel a bit prethought, but the result is nice. Her eyes are really beautiful, I can see the photographer in them too :)

Hello Luca,

This is magnificent and incisive portrait of the young woman. And like a master, you've positioned one of her eyes on the center-line. It was discovered in 1998 by the English-born psychologist/art lover, Christopher Tyler, that in almost all great portraits — from Leonardo's Mona Lisa, to to Rembrandt's self-portraits, and even Picasso's and Van Gogh's — one eye is on the centerline. This is not a principle taught in art schools, but intuitively adopted by artists. The same holds for photography.
