Hi Swiatek,
Beautiful double portrait! I really like the expressions and the eyes here. Light, colors and contrast are very good. It is just pity you didn't give any further details about the scene in your note.
Cheers,
Alon

Wow! In my favorite, straight. Several things about this photo: of course its exceptional technical quality. The human quality of the photo is also superlative. It is incredible that you could get into a nomad tent in West Africa and take such a sensitive and intimate portrait of the mother and child. You must be magical!
I am struck by the green eyes of the mother. I would have thought this shade of color would be uncommon in Berbery coast; this is probably an indication of their mixed descent.
Love the dreamy eyes of the child, in contrast to the confident gaze of the mother.

Luminous portrait, Swiatek; the weird thing about it is the detachment from the background is so sharp, it's almost as if the "mother" was a cut out, and the composition a collage - can't explain it better than that. Interesting also the blue/green eyes of the mother, which you can find I believe among the Berbers in Algeria too...

ok this is something that is catchy for every eye;
of course the main and responsable element for this are her eyes and the look she gave to you.
also the composition and colors and lightining I find very beautiful.
great photo

This has got strong impression. Catchy and touchy, lights works perfect. The shot looks so beautiful but I feel sorry for these women who has to hide themselves in veils all the time. Oh well, that is my perspective to the custom though, everybody has to feel different about it..

First thing that struck me - this looks like a polish girl... thought she must be your travelling companion? In any case a beautiful portrait, especially with the light halo.

intensywnosc spojrzenia powala, moze sie niemal rownac z Afganka McCurry'ego... swiatlo tez jest super, troche jedynie nie jestem pewien ogolnej kompozycji i wzajemnej relacji (w sensie kompozycyjnym) obu dziewczynek, niemniej robi niesamowite wrazenie.

To me, this picture encapsulates these mysterious and striking people...then I see your response to greg...(tut tut) Didn't believe for a second that this was the mother, though I do like the mysterious element to this moment.
This intimate moment is heightened by the enclosure of the tent.

Wonderful and dramatic picture that shows or i glimpse the tragedy those people are bearing and suffering , not only because their settlements in Tindouf are getting run out of food with thousands of people starving but the recent cases of drowned deaths in Saharauian people trying to cross towards Islas Canarias(with primary canoes , "pateras" ) to search for freedom and get out of the systematic humiliation and torture they receive from morocco authorities ...
artistically i suscribe gal eota s words ...the portrait is really amazing leaving me without words
There are many saharauians with nice blue or green eyes and looking at your picture it brings me back my rememberings to Leyhla

Hello Swiatek,
Great photo, the colors are great with the contrasting black "tunica" against the colored "wall". The green eyes expression combined with the little girl facing the empttness makes this an Excelent Shot.
Congratulations, Regards,
Daniel
