Photographer's Note
On Africa's Atlantic coast, Swakopmund is Namibia's second most populous city with a population of about 40,000. It is one of the best preserved examples of German colonial architecture in the world.
Founded in 1892, it is one of the few places in Africa where a sizable minority of the population speaks German and has Germanic roots.

Olá, Paulo!
Mais um nevoeiro que dá um clima bem interessante à foto, e o pier foi fotografado com muito boa perspectiva! Tudo parece tão abandonado aí! Deve ser um paraíso para fotógrafos!

Hello Paulo,
Although I usually like to see water look natural, I really like this.
Your slow shutter speed has turned the water into into mist, on which the pier appears to be floating.
It is effective with a very mysterious atmosphere.
Excellent linear perspective.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hi Paulo,
Long exposure gives magical feeling as the sea seems to be hovering above clouds. Impressive, very carefully framed shot. I wonder what is the condition of this pier nowadays. When I visited the place back in 1998, it was in rather bad shape.

Hello Paulo,
I doubt if it is fog or water that we see.
But the effect is wonderful.
Also a strong light-dark contrast with the pier.
Best regards, Paul

Paulo, the pov is giving depth to the picture. The old pier is supported by numerous pillars. The fog creates a mysterious atmosphere here. Obrigado por sua crítica, mas eu prefiro avaliar minhas fotos mais recentes, não é necessário retornar às postagens antigas, Abraço

Hello Paulo,
A great view of the pier, which seems to emerge not from the sea, but from the fog, which adds a wonderful mood. Also the subdued light adds to it. Well captured.

Hiya Paulo
The long exposure transforms the moving waves into an etheral fog, contrasting with the solid state of the pier.
Well thought and done!

Hello Paulo, beautiful view of this pier in Swakopmund. In fact, seeing the Apfelstrudel in cafes and Bismarck street I felt in our seaside resort on Baltic sea. And we have a similar pier. Wonderful view with this lowlying fog.
Kind regards MAlgo
