Photographer's Note
This leopard had recently fed on an Oryx calf in the
Africat Refuge and was taking a nap when our guide radio tracked him. He drove his Range Rover to within 2 meters and we waited to see whether our noise might awaken him. It did, but he just yawned and gave us a long stare. After a few minutes, he slowly got to his feet and slowly walked into the bush. What an unforgetable experience!
