Photographer's Note
It was sweltering hot, and it seemed that this man found some respite in the shade of his home. These people live out here in the desolate and harsh landscape in makeshift homes made from corrugated iron sheets and plastic. Some subsist from collecting rocks and semi-precious stones around the area and sell them to passers by.

Hello Wanda,
This looks like a very horrible place to call home, but the sheets of rusty iron can cynically be regarded as a great background for this portrait. The man's pink cap is a good eye-catcher too. The light streaming from around the corner tells us a lot about the temperature. It's an interesting portrait but makes me a bit sad.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hi Wanda. You almost sneaked past without my noticing as i wasn't expecting to see a photo from you (so soon after the last one :) What a life! But then, it's better than pushing drugs even if not as profitable. He looks like a guy who has a lot of time to ponder about things. The TV antenna is a sad little addition, a testimony of an attempt at "normalcy." Regards. Klaudio.

Hello Wanda
Great to see you've posted another excellent portrait here. Colours are very lively and the close view, making the legs seem long, the crocs bigger...it just adds to the power of the image. Thank you for sharing this beauty.

Hi Wanda
That's the powerful effect of ultra wide lens taken from superb low view point, playing around a little with angle distortion- the perspective beauty that you have fully exploited to max giving a whole different outlook on the cool guy! Indeed a strong composition, subject, expression and that is about culture and real humanity & brilliant contextual portrait. Hat off to inspiration and creativity! Something different to open our eyes. Great subject, My compliments :)
Best wishes

Hi Wanda!
I like this continent a lot but life can be terribly hard there. I cannot even imagine how hot it is inside his house. Is that a TV antenna we see at the top?
It's a very good portrait and you managed really well the light conditions.
