Photographer's Note
Around Cascadas da Sao Nicolau there are plenty of cacao farms.
Anyone of them is running any more.
The one after the waterfall of Cascadas da Sao Nicolau is the "ROÇA Bombaim".
These houses belonged to the farm's owners and their most important chief employees.
Due to the cacao price in the world markets these roças - cacao farms - are all abandoned; yet the S. Tomé e Príncipe cacao is recognized as the world's finest cacao for chocolate manufacturing essentialy.

Hello Rui,
Seems like a pleasant little village they build for the farm workers!
Picturesque scene with the special architecture, and the low light created a lazy by the end of day impression...
Greetings,

Hi Rui,
I really like the atmosphere. The lighting and colours are very unusual. A excellent composition. I like your inclusion of people. TFS and have a nice weekend!
Cheers,

Excellent composition! You have the exact POV for this. I like house the sunset gives one the idea that everything is sort of falling into disrepair, or losing its former grandeur. The topic is also interesting. Well done!
Sincerely,
Kate

Rui,

Cumprimentos,
Francisco

Olá Rui!
Essa roças parecem ter parado no tempo. Pena estarem a cair. Gosto das cores e das pessoas à porta, até dá a ideia de ainda serem habitadas.
