This line in the image is real?
…………Well, it exist in our geographic conception of the world.
We assumed that the all the points in line with the vertical of the sun, at 20or 21 of march or September, over the maxim circle of the earth it would be called equinocy (in time) and equator in dimension.

Trough GPS electronic devices it is now possible to have a tangible way of see the line ………………………………….
after drawing it…

Well this shot is taken from a boat after several attempts shoots in continuous mode…
I hope you like/see it.
The boat at rhe right in the frame is the same on
this view…

Hello Rui,
Here I see the real unspoiled paradise from Sao Tome! so well preserved close to the original stage of the island!
Loved those trees in line infront of the buildings that must be making good shades from the hot tropical sun!

Hi Rui,

Orignal idea for a picture. Having looked at your picture of the very same boat it really hard to believe that is is the same place in this picture it looks like a paradise with the juicy vegetation on the hill and the wonderful houses in the shore. Really well captured and an excellent photo work. TFS and have a nice weekend!

A nice place to sail around apparently. You managed good colors despite the dark sky, and the little village looks very peacefull.

Muito interessante o post. Estive aqui no Brasil em Macapá em um monumenrto ao marco zero aqui(http://www.trekearth.com/viewphotos.php?l=7&p=934539) e esse tipo de fotografia sempre rende coisas interessantes. Muito boa a sua.

Olá Rui,

Amazing capture while the green -equatorial- forest and turquoise colored ocean water are making your frame an eye catching one. The yellow buildings creates good contrasts with sand beach. I liked also your creative way adding a vertical line for equator. Have a nice weekend.

Gosto da piada, mas também dessa beleza aparentemente intocada de cores de fazer perder a cabeça.
Visto daqui, nem o barco parece em mau estado e a praia tem um ar muito mais convidativo.

Ola Rui,
This visit to Sao Tome has really sparked your creative fire!! I really like the balance between the puff of clouds in the upper right and the spray in the lower left. The village curved around the sand beach is a nice focal point although I find the line a bit distracting. It is very interesting to understand exactly where the equator lies, so you might post an unembellished photo in the WS.

Já vi que tens aqui um belo conjunto de fotos de São Tomé, que apreciarei melhor noutros dias, com mais tempo.
Esta está muito bonita.
A brincadeira com a linha sobreposta está engraçada e adapta-se à ideia e à nota. Mas a foto só por si é muito bonita.
