Here I was almost falling asleep because I was very tired, but I waited until I cross and see by myself the famous Nile River. There is a controversy about how long is Amazon and some theories says it is longest than Nile.

Neste ponto da jornada eu quase estava caindo de sono, mas esperei a passagem do Rio Nilo para vê-lo por mim mesmo. Há uma controvérsia a respeito do Amazonas e sua real extensão, segundo algumas teorias ele é maior que o Nilo neste quesito também.

Hello Jorge,
I've heard about the different theories on which river can be called the longest in the world. You chose the river from a very interesting POV here, it shows very nicely how it runs through the desert.

Hello Jorge,

I travelled the length of the Nile from near Alexandria to Abu Simbel in Egypt, & I can safely say it is a very loooooooonnnnng river! It took a week or more of train and boat travel. I was thinking about getting the 8 hour boat to Sudan then a 52 hour train trip to Khartoum but by this stage I had had enough. Tfs!
