Grand Place is the best known landmark of Brussels. One of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites it is surrounded by historic buildings.

An unexpected short trip to Belgium resulted in this blue hour photo.

Hello Kasia: Nice balance with the lighting. It's always good to have a little light in the sky. Nice sharp detail in the buildings and brick in the foreground.

Nice! However the bottom part of the photo is slightly boring. Nothing is going on :-( Maybe the panorama format would be more appropriate?

Czesc Kasiu,
caly plac,architektura wokol sa naprawde znakomita sceneria do zdjecia "Blue hour".Kolory i kontrast ktory wspolnie tworza sa wspaniale.Rowniez kostka brukowa jest swietnie uchwycona(zwlaszcza odbijajace sie na jej powierzchni swiatlo).
Ze tez nigdy nie moge sie zebrac i ruszyc do Belgii(w koncu z Kolonii to niecale 200km)

Superb clarity and a gorgeous light on that iconic square in Brussels. Love the color of the sky and the reflections of the lights on the pavement.
But wouldn't you say the "Atomium" to be the most best know Brussels landmark?

Hi Kasia,
A very good capture of this famous square. The long exposure time creates a very good light over these beautiful buildings. The persons moving during the exposure actually provides a sense of movements. Excellent!

Hello Kasia,

Recognizable and famous building (also thanks
to the publicity of History Channel). Picture
has a high quality and the blue hour give is
a nice extra. An option (not an improvement)
is to cut a piece of sky, than you will have
a nice panaorama-photo.

Excellent evening view of the symbol of Brussels. I was here in 1999 and I remember my first emotions when we came into this Square. It's just a music! TFS!
