I can understand why Cassis is a gold mine for photographers! Your picture cheers me up on this cold day in Scotland!

Beautiful colourful seafront houses make a fine backdrop for the little boats and their lovely reflections in the inky water, and all beneath a gorgeous interesting sky.

Excellent composition, perfect lighting and exposure and exquisite details and sharpness.

J'ai pensé à toi quand j'ai été promené dans la région d'Arolla, avec les mélèzes et la neige.
Superbe vue de ces bâteaux de pêche coloré superbe les facades des maisons en fond ces reflet un rêve.

Wonderful sharpness and depth in the photograph. There is variety in colours and they make the picture so vey vivid and bright.
The white and red of the boats in the deep blue waters, the details of the buildings on the waterfront, the brilliantly captured blue sky with silver clouds, make for a very wholesome composition. There is excellent light management and the depth of field makes us appreciate the details of the photograph.
The wide border framing is appropriate.

Comme Gigi j'ai cru que c'était une photo signée Eric lol Mêmes reflets, même couleurs qui claquent, même ciel moutonneux, j'espère que tu as obtenu son autorisation pour le copier ! Je trouve un peu dommage que l'arrière de la barque au premier plan soit coupé, pas possible de faire un cadrage horizontal ici ?

a very nice place with the colourful fishing boats to creates depth in the image and lead-in the eye on the far end of the first houses of the waterfront of the city.

quest'anno va di moda Cassis a quanto vedo, la pro loco dovrebbe pagarci per tutta la pubblicità fatta su queste pagine, del resto il luogo merita molta attenzione per la sua bellezza.
Gran bella cartolina, con riflessi e nuvole come nella migliore tradizione.

Bonjour Denis - While northern Europe moves towards winter, the south seems to hang on to the sunshine of summer. This is brimming with Mediterranean colour and a holiday feel. A very attractive composition with pleat of crisp detail. Nice work to line up those large reels on the boats. Warm regards Rosemary

Un luogo che ho apprezzato tanto, come anche Sanary.
Ottima sfilata di barche a dare profondità sulle case in BG.

you have found a lovely light here.Compositionally I like that you have left plenty of space in the fg to show off the boat's reflection and I like the dappled effect of light on water.The buildings make an attractive backfrop.

you have captured some very elegant and rich looking water reflections, the lighting is the best in the lower portions in the fg, just stunning :)

to have the cloud coverage and warm color of architecture in the bg is a bonus!
lovely set up as the elements fit the entire scene.

Bonjour Denis,
The bright daylight enhanced the details over the port, and yet helped having a fabulous water reflection.
Houses on backdrop enjoy a strong light upon, while sky are partly cloudy.
Nice and pleasent image to look at.
