Photographer's Note

Riding from Entebbe to Kampala just after sunrise. The fist part in the morning haze was without the permanent traffic congestion that makes Kampala infamous to ride.

This is a great composition , with the superb effect of the morning mist in the far . The bikes are very well placed at a focal point .

I like the the POV that you chose, it really gives the feeling of being on a bike. You also did a nice job of capturing the light on the morning haze. Your note is interesting, I'd sure hate to see this road when it is busy. It looks challenging enough early in the day.

Hello Gerrit,
This may be a rather ordinary suburban highway, but this perspective with the two long slopes, and the mist and mild light of early morning gives the view a rare beauty. This is the kind of picture that gives me an urge to go on another journey - although not necessarily by bike and not necessarily at this early hour. It's an enchanting photo anyway.

Leuk om je weer eens tegen te komen,prachtig beeld van een het begin van een tropische dag,zoals ik zo vaak heb mogen zien in bv Indonesie,ik kan de frisse ochtendgeuren al ruiken....

wow, I dont think we get to see many photos of Uganda on TE! so this is a real treat, as are the other photos in your gallery.

interesting to see all the trees and flora in the city, we don't really have that in north american cities on major streets like this.

I'd love to check out the Joma Supermarket :)
