If you ever find yourself in Haputale on the southern edge of the central mountains of Sri Lanka don't hesitate to get to the Olympus Plaza.
The view from the balconies of the rooms are unforgettable.

Another wonderful view of the mountains of Sri Lanka . This is splendid from the Fg towards the blue ridges in the Bg . The "S" of the road is really attractive .

Hi Gerrit,
That is certainly a superb view. I love the way the road snakes through the foreground. The blue haze makes the rugged mountain tops even more beautiful.

Certainly a most beautiful view to wake up to and very well captured in this composition. I like the contrast in light between foreground and background. The winding road invites you to get into the car and explore further.

yes,I would like to have a room with such a somptuous view.Yhis landscape is superb,and I like the contrast between the sunny foregound and the mistu mountains at the horizon,giving some softness to the picture.Superb!

Dag Gerrit,

Mooie foto van het 'hill country' en een leuke hoteltip voor Haputale. Zelf logeerden we meer in het centrum, ook héél mooi, maar dat weet je waarschijnlijk wel.

Mooi hoe je de verschillende 'layers' in de verte hebt kunnen vastleggen.

Luck you having had roads in such a good condition.
At my visit in the 80ties, during the civil war,most roads where unpaved.

It`s indeed a wonderful view.Love the bright green and misty blue mountains.
