Exhausted Sea Lions, a photo from South Australia, West

To finish off this series from Kangaroo Island what better than exhausted Sea Lions sleeping on the beach, although now that I look closely again the large one has its eyes open watching me. Are the smaller ones her pups?
You're only allowed onto Seal Beach under the supervision of a park ranger, not just for the protection of the Sea Lions but for protection from them as they can get aggressive if you get too near one of the pups.

I think they must be somewhat blood related. So, one kept eye contact on you while the two other enjoyed their leisure time. Good composition and nice soft colours. TFS !!!

A nice trio of relaxing sea lions! Well framed and composed and the wide angled panoramic crop suits the image. Good sharpness too. Tfs!

It's a beautiful and charming view and you got close enough to take another perfectly sharp photo. But not close enough to upset the likely mother. It's a very nice photo.

Cute picture of the mum and its 2 pups, fast asleep on the beach.
Interesting note which brought my memory back to November 2015 in South Africa, when we saw a sea-lion lying on the beach. I shall add it in WS.
I wonder if their working, or fishing environment is the sea, whereas their resting place is the beach.
