About the church:
The gothic Sankt Mang Kirche in Kempten is a Protestant church and as such, it’s very special. You don’t find a lot of really old Protestant churches in Catholic Bavaria. The tower is 66 meters high and was erected from 1426 till 1428 on the foundations of an ancient roman church.

Deux versions différentes mais aussi belles l'une que l'autre de ce superbe endroit. Ta vue rapprochée est d'aussi belle qualité que l'image de Didier. Une heure bleue aux fantastiques couleurs avec des reflets superbes et un magnifique effet de filé des nuages dans le ciel. Splendide!

What a fine contrast between the deep blue sky and water and the goldne buildings and their reflections. the white that breaks the blue in the sky adds a magic effect.

There are quite a few kings and princes of the blue hour on TE but you are the queen. It must be the company you keep! ;D
Gorgeous image with a fantastic cloud effect thanks to the slow shutter. The reflection are wonderful and provide almost perfect symmetry.

Lovely blue hour shot. The way the yellow builiding and the reflections stand out is stunning. I see you had more luck for photos than I did during my mini TE meet. Coco and I didn't even bring our cameras.

Excellente reflections et les couleurs sont magnifique.
Le cadrage vertical est splendide, belle lumière et profondeur de champs. Je me rappel la composition de Didier, en effet. Je préfère celui-ci sans doute le close-up.

Liebe Linda! Ein ganz grosses Kompliment fuer dieses Klassefoto. Dieses Hell am Himmel, dieser lebendige Streifen, der sich auch im Wasser spiegelt, den finde ich spitzenmaessig. Ein Detail aber ein wichtiges Element in diesem Foto. Wunderbar. Mittlerweile ist schon der 2. Januar, aber das Jahr ist immer noch frisch und man darf noch Wuensche raussenden. Ich wuensche Dir und Deiner Familie ein wunderbares Jahr, mit der Kamera in der Hand, auf jeden Fall manchmal, aber auch sonst spannende Momente, immer und immer wieder. Und natuerlich herzlichen Dank fuer Deinen Kommentar zu meinem kleinen TE Krampf, aber es ist schon wieder viel viel besser, dank Dir und Euch hier auf TE. I see that while I was admiring the sky in this photo, you were looking at my floating mountains :)
love this shot, the ink blue colour in combination with the golden light looks great. and smart use of the reflection to double the effect. but the sky! it looks like aurora borealis, love it.

The combination of dark blue with the golden light on the buildings is just excellent.
I like the way you composed. As on Didier's photo, I am surprised by the effect on the upper part, as if you were zooming. The result is surprising and great.
I will take this one in my favorites.

Hi Linda
I though Didier's was good, however you have outclassed him here. Your blue is strange looking, its very deep and moody - I love it, maybe I don't wait long enough to see it. The vertical composition works really well - nothing redundant in this whatsoever. The moving clouds like Didier's draws the eye into the image. And them tones in the architecture finish it off beautifully. Great depth, detail and sharpness throughout, be interesting to see Marks 5D against the other two cameras.

here is an excellent example of what time exposure over 30sec can do. wonderful graphic effect on the clouds. Very sharp details, and vivid colours.

Pictures like this one makes me want to visit your beautiful country. A blue hour shot with an excellent result. The colours and sharpness are superb. Incredible effect of the white breaks in the sky, looks almost like northern light except of the colour. Very good light management, and the mirror in the water is excellent. Incredible well done! I've just stumbled upon this one and I think it's great. The blue hour combined with the long exposure gives it a surprising but pleasing dynamic. Quite paradoxical for landscape but I guess that's part of the attraction.

Na ja, du weißt wie ich über Punkte denke :P Meistens haben die besten Bilder hier die wenigsten Punkte und schlechte Bilder viel zu viele.
Aber anscheinend bestätigen Ausnahmen die Regel, weil dieses Bild mal 100 pkt. verdient hat, na ja, dann wollenw ir mal nich so sein und sie auffüllen :)
Sehr schönes Bild, gefällt mir sehr gut, ich weiß ja wie es entstanden ist^^
