***MY THOUGHT - NON TECHNICAL***

Indian by birth and Hindu by religion. Hinduism is absolutely incomplete without the tales of Gods & Goddesses. Spiritualism has taken us to such a great height that it made me think that on this road of Kolkata suddenly there appeared a dazzling light of Halo with thousands of sparks and then appeared THE CHARIOT OF LORD KRISHNA on the road. I took the picture when 'Balahak' - One of the four horses of the Chariot of Lord Krishna was standing still and other three members - Megh, Shaibya and Sugreeva were taking their night dinner on the other side of Kolkata Maidan (Which is obviously out of frame).The Charioter's Sarathi, Daruka was standing beside me and was out of frame too.

***MY THOUGHT - TECHNICAL***

Side road of Kolkata Maidan. A Horse Carriage was standing still with street light above and vehicles passing by the road. Taken the snap with slow shutter speed in manual mode and greater Aperture Depth.

PEOPLE CAN BELIEVE THIS INCIDENT IN ANY WAY

Hi Anindya --

I certainly believe this (technically :-)) as I have seen this scene many a times exactly there. As a non-believer I will look at this only as far as the beauty of my City of Joy is concerned. It's certainly fantastic.

Only thing I could do differently by taking out the light source out of the frame, but that would hurt your non-technical thought process I guess.

Nonetheless thanks for sharing...

10 second exposure, very narrow aperture, quite an interesting experiment, but I do feel that the flare of the street light is a bit disturbing. While the saturated colours give a surreal and perhaps unearthly feel, I guess cropping off the light source would have robbed the picture of 'Spiritualism' factor in your note
