Hi Subha,
An extremely meaningful shot. The face with colour with the back ground in B&W gives a different dimension to the picture which tells the story of this child. This picture is one of my favorite in TE.

Hello Subha - You have produced a very strong and heart-rending image. Excellent composition; the child's eye seems to be looking right through me and into my soul. Thank you for reminding us that life is not always a beautiful as many of the images posted on the site. Best wishes Rosemary
PS I am adding this to my favorites

Hi Subha,
Hard shot very unusual on TE and I like it. The face of the boy is very expressive. It expresses the distress in front of the chaos which reigns in its back.
Hard to see a such a glance on a so young boy.
Great shot.

Hello Subha,
A great piece of photojournalism showing us the harsh reality of much of the world. A clever idea to show just half the face and in colour against the b/w background. TFS. I will not forget this image.

Hi Subha,
A powerful portrait, personally I prefer a more natural PP but there alot of impact visually here, but mostly, it evokes and emotive response. There is a sadness, a reality. A very humane shot.
Cheers
Justin
