hello...Praia da Dona Ana beach is regarded as the most picturesque beach of the Algarve region. The small beach is surrounded by steep colourful strata cliffs, while the golden sands are lapped by the crystal clear waters - simply put, the Praia da Dona Ana is stunning. The Dona Ana beach is within walking distance of central Lagos and makes for an ideal location for a day on the beach.

Hello Dale,
Photos elsewhere on the net show quite a large sandy beach here, but in this photo I just catch glimpses of beach between the rocky outcrops. But this photo gets a tremendous strength from the well captured texture of the huge steep rock and the colours making it look like an abstract painting. The persons seen at the top and near the water give us a good idea of the dimensions involved.

hello Dale, We can see the tiny figures of people on the cliff and also on the shore so we can imagine how high and steep the cliffs here are. stunning view from the side of water, probably from the boat cruise. Splendid picture from amazing Algarve.

we don't usually see the beach from this point of view, I take it you were out on a boat tour or something? I didn't do this, but now i kinda wish I did. striking colors and lighting here, the rocks almost come alive. sweet shot
