Hello Way - This is a most spectacular geological formation and I love your saturated colours, such a sight deserves to be show in all its colourful glory. Wow, what a spectacular landscape!
Very beautifully with the long lines in the rock surface, alternating white and red.
Here we see layers similar to those of the Antelope Canyon (of which lots of pictures have been shown on TE) but now in a wider landscape.
I like the warm colours of this Little Wave under that blue sky.

Hello Way,

Beautiful sandstone rock formation showing these curved lines like waves. The red color rocks contrast nicely with the blue sky. Nice troughs have been formed due to the erosion, A breath taking view with sharpness and depth.

A bautiful and clear shot, with extraordinary composition. The repetitive forms of the rocks on the right, the contrsat between deep blue sky and bright clay rock, the clouds which follow the horizon, darkening in the center, the light lines of rock running toward the camera (or away) - and is that a person at left, about a third of the way up? If so, it certainly adds to the sense of enormous scale which is already present. Just a perfect shot.

Sabaidie Way
One of the most photographed places in the last few years from this part of US...we have wall papers & screensavers highlighting, I guess a portion of it where the patterns are most wavy. This is an amazing place, a creation of nature. I laud you for showing us this wider picture of this place, the striations creating a fine wavy pattern in perspective. Excellent picture!

what amazing rock formations. the layering is quite unique and helps create a wonderful image. the textures of the land along with the rich red colours contrast wonderfully well with the deep blues of the sky, and the fluffy white clouds.

I planned to go there in august 2012 but we could'nt ! I can now understand why photographers like arizona and utah !!
These landscapes are amazing and your image is once again very well executed.
The light management is insane !! Is it a multiple exposure shots combined in one image ???

A nice double juxtaposing here of firstly the hot cs cold colors of the red rocks and blue sky, and secondly, the contorted, wavy patterns in the rocks contrasting against the uniform cloud patterns in the sky. Good sharpness and well composed using the rule of thirds. Tfs!

First off, I sincerely appreciate your previous response...it's good to know there is some comfort within the TE world. Losing someone close is never an easy thing. I hope I wasn't in the wrong by mentioning it here.

To your photo, what can I say other than 'impressive!' You are fortunate to have been granted access to this beauty, and certainly took full advantage of the opportunity. Seeing your pictures really inspires me get out on the road and head North once again...but it's far too hot right now. :) Rich colors, stunning natural formations and sharp detail...you nailed it! And to think, most people think waves only exist in water!? Enjoy the rest of your weekend. take good care.
